A few months ago, Linda crossed my path. She was looking for someone who could design a new website that would really showcase her new concept and range. Linda had loads of great ideas straight away, and the conversation we had was really enjoyable, but in the end she opted for a different designer.​
Until a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, things weren’t going smoothly with that designer, and she really wanted to work with me after all. There was just one snag: she wanted the site live as soon as possible, and I was going on holiday two weeks later!​
So it turned into a rush job, but luckily I managed to get the website live before my holiday!
The result
At first glance, the style of the website might not seem to match what I usually enjoy creating, but in terms of concept and execution, this project was right up my street! I was faced with the challenge of presenting all the information about Linda’s range clearly on the website, without it coming across as too business-like or ‘salesy’. We were also both keen to incorporate lots of illustrations, animations and interactive elements into the website, without it becoming too much. I hand-drew all the illustrations and animations myself. The result is a cheerful, quirky website that perfectly matches Linda’s bubbly personality.
